I submitted a patch

that adds the icons again (I removed them once because we were unsure of 
the licensing, but that broke the build). I was able to share a project 
again, but I know that it is difficult. Did you follow

to set up two intellij instances locally? (That helps testing a lot).

The XMPP server we use is located in Berlin, so it might make sense for 
you to install your own locally, to reduce latency:
