I just spent 90 minutes with a varying group of 2 to 4 sysadmins trying to
figure out why my "sudo" does not work on saros-build (which I needed in order
to read Gerrit's log file).
I still can't "sudo -s", but at least "sudo -u gerrit", so the logfiles became
readable for me.

Judging from the stacktrace, the problem we had ("Server Error") was probably
is this one [1].
This problem first encountered 13 days ago, and the bugfix was released by the
plugin maintainer 12 days ago (!).
I installed the newest version of the gerrit-oauth plugin and it seems to work.

I'm tempted to say: "Happy reviewing!", but the next issue is right around the
corner:
(Probably) after the latest saros-build restart, SonarQube went missing.

I expect we'll need to make use of a backup, so don't do anything valuable in
the meantime.
(I don't know if Gerrit and SonarQube backups can be replayed separately.)

Subject: [DPP-Devel] Gerrit login failure (was: Jenkins not starting, Plugin
update failed)

It actually did.
Jenkins is up running since 2016-09-27 15:40.

However, as Stefan pointed out, we cannot log in to Gerrit since about
Friday (2016-09-30).
This does not look like the old firewall-blocking-Google-servers issue,
as the "Server Error" message after logging in to Google appears
immediately, not just after a 30 seconds timeout.

What did I do so far?
 - At first, nothing, as our IT staff ran some UPS [1] tests at the
end of last week, along with some other maintenance work.
Some hick-ups were expected, but after a few hours, everything
   should be back to normal.
 - After a few days, not everything was back to normal. I contacted our
IT staff on Tuesday, and asked for help, as I still don't
have sudo rights on that machine and Gerrit's directory (unlike
Jenkins's) is not readable for "others", so I can't even read the
   log files.
 - As I got no response so far, I just contacted them again, stressing
the importance of Gerrit for us.

I'll keep you posted.

Cheers,
Franz
