I added some improvements ... while the first block selection still 
consumes a massive chunk of the CPU, other block selections are 
discarded in the meantime, but that really depends on your CPU. It still 
consumes to much CPU time, to be more specific: it consumes so much CPU 
time that you could render a complete 3D scene via software pixel 
/vertex / etc. / shaders  what it takes to update the annotations.
