Unfortunately this makes Saros unusable for me. It might have to do with the fact that I'm working with a nested multi project layout. It also seems to happen if the project files are not in the workspace (imported project from another location so that only the metadata resides in the workspace). The error message comes from EnterProjectNamePage#updatePageComplete. Unfortunately I'm lacking the time and knowledge of the code base to provide a patch. To me it seems as if the logic in that class is somehow inconsistent. When the person I've invited tries to choose a location, "No project exists with this name to update from". If she clicks Scan Workspace, it shows: Project matches with 99% accuracy, but "Finish" is still disabled. This is despite the fact that we've both checked out the same revision from our SVN repository.
