Initial Comment:
This one was already reported in bug 3428747. Unfortunately this makes Saros
unusable for me.

It might have to do with the fact that I'm working with a nested multi project
layout. It also seems to happen if the project files are not in the workspace
(imported project from another location so that only the metadata resides in
the workspace).

The error message comes from EnterProjectNamePage#updatePageComplete.
Unfortunately I'm lacking the time and knowledge of the code base to provide a
patch. To me it seems as if the logic in that class is somehow inconsistent.

Happening in 11.12.9.r3685.

Message:
And again I ask: What were your specific steps to reproduce this behavior?
I tried the Saros versions 11.12.9 and 12.3.30 and in both cases I had *no*
problems while sharing projects with SVN support.

Made it Prio 9, yes ,,, you can leave the building ... please fix this,
either as hotpfix/patch or with the new release.

Can somebody please do analyse stuff, so this bug can be accepted ?

Message:
This bug is a showstopper for our dev team. When the person I've invited
tries to choose a location, "No project exists with this name to update
from". If she clicks Scan Workspace, it shows: Project matches with 99%
accuracy, but "Finish" is still disabled. This is despite the fact that
we've both checked out the same revision from our SVN repository. If she
selects create a new copy of the project, the new copy is not connected to
SVN.

Message:
Since there is no clear way to reproduce this: does this failure still
occur with the (somewhat) latest version 12.3.30?

And if so: Could you try to describe a minimal example to reenact your
problem? Bugs lacking reproducibility are a developers' nightmare.

Having the same problem when using projects imported with the EGit plugin.
Using same release (11.12.9.r3685).
