Category: Synchronisation / Invitation Group: None >Status: Closed Resolution: Fixed Priority: 1 Private: No Submitted By: Alexander Waldmann (netcorps) Assigned to: Alexander Waldmann (netcorps) Summary: Disconnection when same jabber id logs in in other instance Initial Comment: A weird xml error message appears when the currently logged in jabber id / xmpp user logs in again on a different host/machine/whatever and the server automatically disconnects the first logged in host. e.g. Alice connects on Host A with alice@saros-con. Alice now connects again on Host B with alice@saros-con. Alice@Host A is now being disconnected and should see an appropriate message stating that a multiple login is not possible and she got logged out automatically. See screenshot for the message that currently appears in this case. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Alexander Waldmann (netcorps) Date: 2012-03-25 03:38 Message: If a bug has been accepted and a fix has been committed to SVN the developer should set the bug to "Fixed", but not close or set to pending. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Stefan Rossbach (kargor) Date: 2011-11-24 14:05 Message: Bug in Smack API http://community.igniterealtime.org/thread/39110 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=843359&aid=3440668&group_id=167540 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Live Security Virtual Conference Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
