Category: Synchronisation / Invitation Group: None Status: Closed Resolution: Fixed >Priority: 6 Private: No Submitted By: Karl Beecher (k_beecher) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Invitation with a large project causes large gaps Initial Comment: When inviting someone to share a large project, there are large gaps in the wizard. This can happen even if both users have identical copies of the project. Detailed description: - Alice (host) invites Bob - Bob accepts invitation to project - Bob's acceptance window disappears, but around 10-15 seconds passes before Bob's project wizard appears. During this time, Bob may believe the invitation is complete. Alice may also think this (the invitation progress bar tends to get minimized and could easily be overlooked). As a test project, I usually use JabRef, available here on SourceForge. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Björn Kahlert (bkahlert) Date: 2011-04-29 06:49 Message: We should re-merge the incoming invitation and "project acceptation" wizard and display a progress bar. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=843359&aid=3294842&group_id=167540 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Live Security Virtual Conference Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
