Category: Eclipse Integration Group: None Status: Closed Resolution: Fixed >Priority: 6 Private: No Submitted By: christianhuening (chhuening) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Can't connect to Server: Eclipse 3.6, 64bit on Mac Initial Comment: I just tried Eclipse 3.6 Helios 64bit with Saros on my Intel MacBook Pro (10.6.4). Everything installed and loaded just fine, but I couldn't connect to our Openfire Server. It's no problem with Eclipse 3.5. Got no Error Message, just "Couldn't connect, Do you want to try other settings?" ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: christianhuening (chhuening) Date: 2010-09-06 03:27 Message: After a while I tried again with the newest Version of Saros and finally it works! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: christianhuening (chhuening) Date: 2010-06-29 06:38 Message: Network connection is set to "direct". Doesn't help. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: A. Haferburg (ahaferburg) Date: 2010-06-26 01:47 Message: I don't have 3.6, but this sometimes happens in 3.5, too. Go to Preferences->General->Network connections, change the Active Provider to Direct, then try again. Does that help? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=843359&aid=3021690&group_id=167540 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Live Security Virtual Conference Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
