Currently the host sends you your color. If you change your color, the color will be changed also at the host side. All colors are indexed by an ID. ID 0 1 2 3 4 A B C D E user 2 will get color C user 2 changes his color to F 0 1 2 3 4 A B F D E in a new session, the host will assign color F to the second user that is invited. This has nothing to do with #3514632. This bug is about a autonomous change of the user's color after the Session already began.
