As I cannot reproduce this always (I am not able to even produce this one)
and the reporting person postet via anonymous I would consider this bug as
invalid.

Message:
I am also unable to reproduce this behaviour. What do you mean with "end up
in a big loop" ? Every affected file is loaded into memory (this is done in
the GUI EDT). Refactoring a single file will mostly not affect much other
files.

A few questions:
* Which Eclipse version do you use? [Eclipse 3.7.2 works for me]
* Refactoring isn't very specific. What did you try (Renaming, Moving,
Extract Interface, ...)? [Renaming works for me]
The only "misbehavior" I observed is that the following participants don't
follow the "leader" into the renamed ("new") class. But Eclipse itself
doesn't stuck at all and remains responsive anyway. You can simple reopen
the refactored class by double-clicking the leader in your buddy list and
you jump right to the position he is looking at.
