** [bugs:#814] Whiteboard DH: Pointer position wrong**
**Status:** open
**Labels:** Whiteboard Whiteboard DH

Problem description
===================
After the drawing area is moved by panning or scrolling, the red dot of the
pointer tool appears in the wrong place.
To reproduce
============
1. Draw a rectangle slightly into the right margin so that the canvas expands.
+ Select the pointer tool and click in order to see that it works.
+ Pan or scroll to the right.
+ Select the pointer tool again and click. The red dot appears too far to the
left.
Insights
========
It's quite easy to see that the cause of this is some confusion of coordinates.
The curser is positioned relative to the screen/the Whiteboard window, whereas
the dot appears somehow relative to the canvas's origin.
