I don't see how this invalidates my original point:

* Yes, it is the intended behavior if Saros is allowed to reuse an existing
project (your original question from the bug entry).
* As I said, keeping the semantics the same, we might think about bringing this
to Bob's attention, i.e. not limit the warnings to file modifications, but
include the scenario described in the bug description.

But as you pointed out, the watchdog complains. That should not be necessary.
Since Bob approved Saros's actions in the project-to-be-reused, the additional
files under foo/b should be deleted during project synchronization.

** [bugs:#809] Partial Sharing: strange behavior when sharing folders only**

**Status:** open
**Created:** Mon Sep 16, 2013 09:29 PM UTC by Stefan Rossbach
**Last Updated:** Tue Oct 01, 2013 07:59 PM UTC
**Owner:** nobody

I do not know if this is a bug or the intended behavior.

Alice Side:

Create project foo:
create folder a
create file a.txt in folder a
create file b.txt in folder a
create folder b

Bob Side:

Create project foo:
create folder a
create file a.txt in folder a
create folder b
create as many files as you wish in folder b

Open all files in folder b

-------------------------------

Invite Bob and share only foo/a/a.txt and foo/b

Wait until Bob receives and inconsistency notification after the project
negotiation

Perform a recovery and enjoy that all files in folder b got deleted on Bobs
side.
