One cause of this issue can be found here:

The main problem is that the server part does not scale well. It uses only one 
thread
to send pong signals which may cause heavy problems if clients have very poor 
response times (IBB). If the client component receives no signal in the 
preconfigured timeout interval it will just kill the session.

As we have cannot access the sockets in asynchronous mode the solution to solve 
this issue is pretty simple. Spawn a send thread for every user (lets see how 
well this will scale).
