Hey - don't give up on us! >I noted that the error message quoted "hotkeys and keyboard >combinations". I rely heavily on keyboard shortcuts and also have the >'US International' driver loaded. Would this perhaps have some >effect? The waffling error message is largely a sign of my lazy-ness. It comes from a piece of code which contains both the setup of the hook which repairs the 'DEL' key and the 'SHIFT-INS', etc cut'n'paste operations _and_ the setup for the WIN-S hotkey. Both of these operations are compromised by being unable to locate the window properly - the error message is not very helpful in distinguishing them. I'll think about ways around this.
