Are you using the default (Luna?) interface?  If so, can you post some of
your CSS styles for others using XP?

Could be.  Not sure there's enough demand at this point, but if anyone has
some free cycles go for it.

Changing the 'q' is painful simply because of the searches that reference
it.  Though, it would be great to encapsulate some of the hard references to
global forms/variables.  Again, free cycles -- go for it.
