Category: None Group: None Status: Closed Resolution: Fixed Priority: 5 Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) >Assigned to: Brent Beardsley (bearbr) Summary: integrate browser bookmarks Initial Comment: I'd love to be able to select from my bookmarks from the search deskbar menu so I don't have to open a browser window. I'd also love to be able to use my yahoo companion bookmarks as well and since I'm asking for the moon - mozilla bookmarks. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Glenn Carr (glenncarr) Date: 2002-09-28 07:55 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=18127 Brent Beardsley created the bookmarks add-on to access IE, Netscape 4, Yahoo, and Mozilla bookmarks. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Glenn Carr (glenncarr) Date: 2002-08-14 11:39 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=18127 So, just in case someone isn't aware of this, you can turn on the 'Desktop' toolbar in the tray which lets you get to any file on your machine through the menus. You can also add any number of other folders to the tray for quick access to their files and subfolders. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Dan Martin (kraelen) Date: 2002-08-14 10:08 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=505191 I did some work towards this end. I wrote something that allows you to set a folder (or list of folders, seperated by pipe characters | ) that will show up on the DQSD menu. It's not working, although it's 90% done. I have a recursion issue that I haven't been able to figure out. If anyone wants the code, let me know - perhaps you can figure out what I haven't been able to. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Glenn Carr (glenncarr) Date: 2002-08-13 17:52 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=18127 To display the favorites off the Start menu in Win2K... - Right-click on the taskbar, select 'Properties' - Select the 'Advanced' tab - In the 'Start Menu Settings' list, turn on 'Display Favorites' Sorry, don't have a clue about Yahoo Companion. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2002-08-13 16:44 Message: Logged In: NO I'm using Windows 2000 and I don't see a Favorites menu off the Start menu. I use Yahoo Companion and it's bookmarks more anyway. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Glenn Carr (glenncarr) Date: 2002-08-13 11:35 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=18127 If you are talking about IE favorites, one option that you have right now is to select the favorites from the 'Favorites' menu that hangs off the 'Start' menu. But, I'm sure you probably already knew that. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=432069&aid=594658&group_id=42081 ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ DQSD-Devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/dqsd-devel
