Summary: certain words will not initiate a search

Initial Comment:
Version 3.1.4.0 - October 3, 2002 on Win2K SP3

If I type "mac" followed either nothing or additional text
and hit enter, it will not initiate a search...no window
opens at all. If I type " mac" (note leading space) it will.
Everything else I've tried works fine. Is somebody
blocking the word "mac"?

BTW very cool app!!!

Yeah, that's why we need to disable alot of the searches by
default, IMO. Most just install it to help them google.

It's because 'mac' is defined as shortcut to "Convert between
a router MAC address format to a switch MAC address
format." (Type "? mac").

To get around this, either explicitly specify google:

gg mac

or fire up the help/about screen and under 'Functions'
uncheck the checkbox next to 'mac' to disable it and close
the window. You should just be able to enter 'mac' now.
