Hi David, Thanks for the tip. Now unfortunately I'm having more problems!
First: XMLHTTP strips off the cookie information for security purposes so I can't use it. Second: I tried loading the first page into an iframe and then submitting the form but I can't figure out how to make sure the first page is loaded before submitting :( I've been trying to check the readyState on the iframe and it's giving erroneous results and mskb seems to acknowledge my findings. Anyone got any more ideas? Thanks, Brent --- David Bau <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > How about the trick that's used to launch POST forms > in foreign browsers? > I.e., producing a temporary.html page that uses > script to submit itself.... > > David > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Brent Beardsley" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Sent: Friday, January 24, 2003 4:57 PM > Subject: [DQSD-Devel] sending cookies on form submit > > > Hi all, > > I've run into 3 sites now that require a cookie to > be > set (a session cookie I assume) for the search to > work. > > So...I've been trying to figure out how to do this > and > keep failing.
