Cool! I should mention that the hotbot guys were pretty careful to work to comply with the GPL license. Lincoln Jackson contacted me ahead of time to check to make sure that distributing [freely with source code] would be OK - of course it is, since that's what GPL is all about. They also credit and link to the main dqsd distribution etc.
