Are you using two video cards for multiple monitors, or a single video card with multiple outputs? The multiple-monitor ATI card I use at home creates a single desktop across both monitors, which means the taskbar goes ALL the way across the bottom of both monitors, centered windows appear half on one monitor and half on the other, and maximized applications take both monitors. I *HATE* this functionality, but have not had problems with DQSD in this setup. At my most recent place of employment, I had two video cards for dual-monitor support. One AGP, one PCI. It is on this setup that I had all my multiple monitor DQSD weirdness.
