Summary: tip of the day

Initial Comment:
It might be nice to display a tip (somehow) when...

...either search bar is first loaded or ...

...after a certain number of searches or ...

...after each search or ...

...only when ' Tip of the Day ' is selected from the menu

or ...

There's a bunch of good stuff (keyboard shortcuts,

searches, etc.) that most new users don't know about,

and something like this might be helpful.

I don't think a dialog would be very friendly, but a non-

obtrusive popup window might be.

I think this is a very good idea, good for new and experienced

users alike. I don't know how many times I've been using a

program I've used for years and suddenly discovered a great

feature that I had no idea was there. As long as it's easy to

turn off for those who don't like it, I don't see it being a

problem. As long as someone has time to spend coding this, I

think it would be a great addition.

I always turn those off first thing anyway. I'm pretty sure

everyone does. Don't waste time coding that - if someone

wants to know a trick, they can read the help file.
