Displaying the banner/logo is the default behavior now.

I coded it up so it functions as a "GO" button UNLESS there is no
search text. If there is no search text (for example; the clock is
active, the box is empty, or it says (localized) the "quick search" or
"type ?" stuff) it will parse the "bannerlink" variable. The
"bannerlink" variable can be a URL, Local Path, or Search (with params
even! - just like you'd put it in the box).

I tested it out with different values, but it should be played with a
bit more by anyone who's willing just to make sure that the changes
work under different situations.
