Category: UI Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: david bennett (dmb3150) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Poor behaviour when taskbar vertical at left Initial Comment: I use Win XP with the taskbar arranged vertically down the left side. Several problems. 1. No menu thingie to click on. The only way to get the menu is F1, which is bad, because the only way to get the focus there is the mouse (the hot key doesn't work). So you have to use the mouse and the keyboard every time to get the menu. Bummer! Suggestion: right click for menu, Ctrl+click for calendar would be more Windows-like. 2. Double click opens it way up; second double click closes totally. This is not useful. 3. Opening the tray closes up the search window. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Kim Grsman (kimgrasman) Date: 2004-07-20 18:37 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=551308 Late response, but here goes; 1) Hot-key support for vertical docking was fixed in 3.1.8, so Win-S, F1 should work. Also, you can configure DQSD to always show the menu button: showbutton = 1; in localprefs.js does it. 2 & 3) I don't understand all of what you're saying here. Double-click opens what way up? What do you mean by "opening the tray"? Anyway, hope that helps somewhat. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=432066&aid=675199&group_id=42081 ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by BEA Weblogic Workshop FREE Java Enterprise J2EE developer tools!
