The reason I wanted to keep the shortcuts was to avoid annoying anybody who had come to use the old searches regularly and would have to relearn to use the new switches. But I suppose those people that are affected could simply add the aliases back in to their own tastes. I do prefer to keep the symbol shortcuts (! for ifl , for ggn), but those can still exist without the need to have the text aliases as well.
