The default should launch a new browser window
for each search. There is a setting...
/* Reuse browser window
mode
* NOTE: reuse browser mode is only valid when IE is the default browser. * If any other browser is the default and the launchmode=1, a new browser * window will be spawned for each search regardless of category. * * 0=new window always [default] * 1=single window for all * 2=single window for each search type */ reuseBrowserWindowMode = 0; ...that will force a new window if you add it to
localprefs.js. But, this should be the default (the defaults are in
preferences.js).
What is your default browser?
Also, a new feature -- holding down the shift key
when pressing enter as of 2.5.8b9 should always launch a new window if you are
using IE your default browser (launchmode=0 and maybe launchmode=2)
