I have defined an environmental variable DQSD_ROOT to point to c:\program files\quick search deskbar
when i enter in DQSD run explorer /e, %DQSD_ROOT% i get that the path doesn't exits but at a dos prompt if i enter explorer /e, %DQSD_ROOT% explorer opens to the DQSD directory anyone know why? i can get the following command to work from DQSD, but it seems the long winded way to go. run cmd /c explorer /e, %DQSD_ROOT% any thoughts... i'm just messing around with some shortcuts so no big deal if it can't be done the way i first tried. thanks, JB John W.
