the fix should be pretty simple. the problem is that goo() is no longer a search. so to be thorough in trying to solve this, please do the following...
Close DQSD if it is open. Log off / log on. Delete "searches.xml" (if it exists). Delete your entire "\searches" directory. Delete "preferences.js". Alternatively you can do a complete uninstall and then be sure to delete your entire "\Quick Search Deskbar" directory. Then, install the latest DQSD. I have you do all these steps as I am unsure in your setup what file is referencing the old goo() search. the google searches are now consolidated in gg(). This should get you going. I run DQSD on 2 XP machines without problem. You should also be aware of this very minor issue when using DQSD on XP: http://www.dqsd.net/faq.htm#winxp JB > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of pd > Sent: Saturday, August 03, 2002 7:16 AM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: [DQSD-Users] XP Pro errors > > > Hello > > I thin DSQD is the best thing since sliced bread.
