Ronald - this is a known problem with some
installations that we will be fixing in a new release to come out shortly. In
the meantime, you can work around the problem by deleting c:\program files\quick
search deskbar\search\dicit.xml and acine.xml as well.

As a new user of your program I am very happy
with the results. I only have one question; when ever I boot-up my
computer I get the same error message (twice) "Unable to load search from
search\dicit.xml: switch from current encoder to specified encoder not
supported". I am sure it is something I did and do not know what is I
need to do to correct the problem. The program works well with on
"hitches".
