I had the same problem, Dave.  I downloaded SetBrowser from www.pc-tools.net - to set Avant as the default browser. Then you go back to the Search and type in ! which reloads the app.   Try that - and if it doesn't work - try copying Avant's IExplore to Aiexplore.exe - then rerunning the SetBrowser and specify "Aiexplore.exe" as the default browser. Then reset the DQSD app by using the ! again.
