I tried it a month ago but when I saw that warning it looked like I HAD to opt to allow activeX. Because I don't understand activeX and there are so many warnings about it, as much as I love DQSD I uninstalled it.

It will not run without security warnings in this release. You will need to click okay on a warning dialog when it first initializes, but most of the rest of the functionality should work out of the box now.
We anticipate the 4.0 release negating the need for this extra click.
