Thanks for getting back Kim (sorry for the bad post everyone)

Kim Gräsman said the following on 18/08/2005 20:14:

When I try and open the menu on the taskbar I get the message an error has occurred in the script in search.htm, line 112, char 7, automation server can't create object.

That's weird. That usually means the DQSDTools.dll isn't registered
properly. Can you open a command prompt and do:

 C:\>cd "%PROGRAMFILES%\Quick Search Deskbar"
 C:\Program Files\Quick Search Deskbar>regsvr32 DQSDTools.dll

Post back with details if this fails.

I had done this because I moved dqsd to e::\dqsd. Note I used it successfully at this location on another machine for ages. I reran the regsxr32 and even did a reboot but I get the exact same messages. I then uninstalled everything, rand AppMove to move dqds, registered the dll, reset the theme_blue.css to fix the multilayer bug and it's back!! I should have done this months ago. Thanks for kick starting me!

Cheers, Tom.
