I tried to recreation your problem and I didn't get that script error. But I am using version  3.1.9.2

When I installed 3.1.9.2 I didn't have any more problems then I did with any other version of DQSD and SP2. I just had to install the registry workaround.

Subject: [DQSD-Users] script error in 3.1.9.1

I have lately found a problem where if i type
anything.co.uk
into dqsd I get a script error.

Does anyone else get this?

Maybe the solution is to install 3.1.9.2 but with all the problems with
SP 2 and the fact I install all my apps on the e drive (have to move the
default install), it's a lot of hassle. I wish someone would add a
custom install to enable changing of the destination :-)

Thanks, Tom.
