Judging from the schema for the draco configuration and the EmailNotifier.cs class, it's not supported (at least not without changes to the code).
Thanks for checking for me. I found out that SMTP passwords are not yet enforced by my mailserver, so I'm ok for now. SMTP authentication does sound like a useful feature to have though. If I ever need it, perhaps I'd be able to add it if coding such a feature isn't too time consuming.
