the pitch of a propeller is an etherial thing. The actual perforomance of two
props of the same pitch from different manufacturers will vary considerably.
With the handbuilts, they will differ within the same manufacturer. The best
way to optimize the prop (if you cant vary the pitch either on the ground or
in the air) is to select a propmaker, tell them the parameters of your
specific plane and circumstances and let them design a prop for you. Even wood
props can be repitched. Most manufacturers will repitch them for you as part
of the initial cost.( If they don't --look elsewhere)
