Hi all,

Just wanted to file a short report on the fly-in!! IT WAS GREAT!!

We had seven airplanes show. Terry O'neil (DF - IL), Jim Doyle (Tri-Q - IL),
Paul Fisher (Q200 - IL), Terry Crouch (Q - IA), Nathan Peck (Tri-Q2 - KS),
Jon Finley (Q - MN), and a Long-EZ (IA). In addition there were several
folks that showed via four wheels instead of three. All total we had
fifteen builders.

Coming from Minnesota I had a wonderful tailwind that manifested itself as a
GPS ground speed ranging from 165mph to 180mph in the Q1. Those from the
opposite direction had to fight to get in but had a quick trip home.

Paul Fisher and Terry Crouch (along with Tama and Debbie) laid out a
wonderful food spread and drinks. Lots of hangar flying, lots of technical
discussion and lots of looking over the airplanes. Brats and dogs were
roasted around noon. A BIG THANKS to these two families for all the work
they did to make the event so much fun!

Now, where is it going to be and who is hosting next
month...................
