Wasn't there an article in Aviation week about the Nalasian effort on this
plane.  I think I remember that the Malaysians wanted to get into the
composite aircraft component arena and were using the plane as a
springboard.

The thing is a flying bandaid IHMO - there are lots of "tricks" on the plane
to try and cure what were percieved as problems.  As a result it looks not
too clean, again IMHO.  Please don't send any Malaysian hit squads after me.
