By the letter of the law they want you to have it re-inspected for each
major change - this can include a prop change.  My FSDO told me that they
weren't interested what the hobby crafter is doing and to bug off when I
went from a 503 to a liquid cooled Rotax.  I dont worry bout insurance
however.  It was strange about the court case cause it was back to the
origonal configuration.

Sounds like Avemco is a waste of $$.  I asked Ellison if the VW manifold
pictured is available ready made. Will need a rubber jointy for each leg to
the heads to handle thermals.

i am using stock VW end castings reversed (L on the  R head) and that would
lend itself to the ellison setup alright.
