As the sun began its slow descent in the windy skies of MystHaven, a
gentlemanly figure stepped down the streets of the city, snow billowing
around his formal, and most assuredly desert, Algatharian attire. He walked
down this street so close to the university, heading toward Lady Senica's
residence, with business weighing heavily on his mind. Tucked under his arm
was a gift of hospitality from Senica's homeland, various blends of
traditional Algatharian tea.

The man glimpsed around himself as advisors were known to do, always aware
of their surroundings, and he spied two black-haired, tan-skinned lovers
across the way, seemingly studying his attire. This did not bother him as he
was sure that the layers of cloth from his distant land would draw some
attention. He bowed his head in greeting towards the two before turning
toward the door of the boarding house where Senica and a few other girls
from the university lived.

Time passed idly as it did most afternoons, and as tea was served between
this Algatharian advisor and Senica in the parlor, the two figures from the
street turned as if a signal had come from somewhere. Their hands gripped
under their cloaks, they drew rapiers into their hands, and then the two of
them rushed the door of the boarding house.

One thug lunged toward the door ramming it with his shoulder at an
incredible speed, causing the wood to splinter, and then he reared back to
attempt another effort at the door, and a crashing sound was made as the
lock broke and the door swung open.

The two thugs rushed past the entrance hall which caused the caretaker, Mrs.
Buchannon, to yelp in panic and anger, but they ended up bursting past her
so quickly that the poor woman ended up spun against the wall. They went
directly through the doors of the parlor where Senica and the advisor were
having tea.

Seconds later glass shattered everywhere as if the heavens were crying, and
these thugs leapt out of the window. They were last seen rushing down the
street and out of MystHaven as the sun was setting, one thug clutching a
brown-haired mustached figure in formal Algatharian attire, while the other
had a firm grip on a blond-haired woman in black silks.

Senica and the Algatharian advisor both kidnapped by these thugs, but for
what reason and why? The relations between both countries was friendly and
trade was good. Even a couple of days had passed and no ransom note or word.
If this was another effort by the Wyvern Gang, they were not following their
usual form of operations.

When asked by the MystHaven guard to describe the advisor so they could
search for him, Mrs. Buchannon told them, "He seemed like a right nice
feller, someone the lass Senica recognized right away. He said he had some
sad news to tell her about her country. I do wish that nice guard Gideon
Bennett was here. He was always dropping by. Will someone let him know the
lass has been taken?"

The MystHaven guards who followed the trail of the thugs into the forest met
with a dead end, for the only group found in that vicinity were four clerics
of the Blood of the World Tree order, praying to the god Asmodeus. None of
them fit the description of the two thugs. Nonetheless, the guards took the
time to search the camp thoroughly, but no weapons were found on the clerics
or within their traveling gear at all.
