~*~ And then her almond-shaped, amber eyes crinkled at the edges causing the scar just below her left eye to nearly disappear, and Tawny's lips curled upward into a hint of a smile. She absolutely loved how the fog seemed to just roll in out of nowhere. The island was well-named and she knew the legend once but had since forgotten. Still, it seemed as though people disappeared right before her very eyes as she sat finishing her cider and watching the street. Tawny heard the low and long tuuuuuuut-tuuuuuut of the ferry boat's horn, and she lithely moved out of the pub with her cap in hand. She was swiftly plowed into and harshly shouted at with a "watch wer yer goin boy" as she slipped to one knee, bracing herself. Her fingers tucked into fists to avoid losing one under the trampling feet of the afternoon crowd. Feeling something slender and solid in the midst of the dirty slush beneath her hand, Tawny brought the object up for inspection as she stood once more, stepping off to the corner to avoid another knock-down. Smacking her cap against her thigh to knock off the slush, Tawny studied her discovery...what appeared to be a fancy woman's silver hairpiece. Most likely of foreign design, she thought, noting its details. The Tiger had little use for it with her short hair now but silver was silver. Might as well keep it, if only for the trouble of getting knocked over. _________________ "They made their choices and they'll never know, What it means to steal, to cheat, to lie, What it's like to live and die To prove it all night."
