When I agreed to this role as head of the Royal Guards of these Isles, I stated that there would have to be some changes made to the chaotic way things had become around here. As a result of careful study, I've decided the best thing for the Isle's law enforcement is to start clean. As of today, ALL Captains in ALL cities are hereby given notice of discharge at this month's end. They are all honorably removed from their Captaincy posts and must reapply alongside anyone else who wishes to be Captain of the guard in that area. The new Captains will take their positions as soon after the 1st of next month. I encourage all ranks of guards to submit their interest in obtaining a post. And new procedures will be set in place to ensure order. I will hear from each and every new Captain as often as possible but no less than a monthly check-in with me and attendance at the monthly Captain's meeting here in MystHaven. Every Captain will risk losing their position if I don't hear from him or her for two months in a row without sufficient notice. The lawlessness on this Isle will be stopped, starting with the guard. Old Captains CAN certainly reapply for any location. All that is required to obtain and maintain a Captaincy post is: 1. Show up for monthly IC/OOC captain's meeting, held in Mysthaven at the Inn so people can RP their Captains. (Captain's meetings will be during the third week of every month, and will be determined specifically after making sure the time fits EVERY mun's schedule or in extreme cases, the mun who cannot attend due to work-related scheduling will be excused from attending if necessary.) 2. Submit a short monthly report to LM in the form of post to the list. 3. Your captaincy -may- be lost if you miss two meetings in a row without sufficient notice.
