Marriska leaned against the frame of the door, the night stirring around herself, pale, stormy blue eyes staring ahead of her. She could smell blood all around her and it made her sick. Young, fresh, innocent. She took in a deep breath and then turned from the doorway, her black hair tousled about her frame as she moved, falling down her back and along the white dress she wore.

Things were not right, actions needed to be taken. She would have to give judgment once more to the one that had betrayed her and her kind. The threat must be stopped before things got worse and worse. She should have banished him, sent him out to sea, but she took pity in hopes that he would learn, would see where and what he was doing wrong.

No more would this be. Walking into her bedroom she removed the long dress from her frame slowly, white caressing lilly white flesh. Mortality had been stolen from her and she fought desperately to hold on to the little bit she was able to control. Control that she feared she was slipping away from slowly with each passing night.

Slipping on her black tunic, her black breeches and plaiting her hair, she readied herself for one last night in this world for either herself, or Myles. As soon as she reached the door of the small house, her form changed into that of a thick mist, moving south along the forests of trees. She would meet Myles head on and nothing would stop her from this now."Beware those that cross me once, twice, and now thrice, for your blood will flow and it will run like a river for all to see."

"I believe there is something that everyone must learn. That there are things out there far scarier than that, that lurks on the streets at night. There are things that reside within our minds. Are you ready to see them?" --Alazandra Moore "The Night Speaks"
