Unto Master Jakey of Larmian, toymaker.

My heartfelt thanks for accepting my commissions. I realize that dolls
of such fine workmanship will take time to complete. The detailed and
intricate nature of the work I have requested was a factor in the price
offered to you. I am glad that you find the price fair, and I eagerly
look forward to seeing the finished projects. There is no need to rush
this work, as it will be some time before my future son or daughter will
be old enough to play with such toys. (It may be several years before
I'd even consider letting them have the dolls' weapons--you know how
small children love to put things in their mouths.) Please take all the
time you need and make sure that they are of especially sturdy
construction, since I am sure that they will receive vigorous use.
Please write me when the dolls are completed and I will make the
necessary arrangements so that you may present them in person at Castle
Molentia to Her Majesty and myself.

I trust that you will notify me if I am outbid; I have enough interest
in several of the items to consider placing higher bids if necessary. In
addition, please inform me if there are any items for which no bids have
been placed when the close of the auction nears. I may be interested in
acquiring these remaining items, as well. I am certain I will find
occasion to give them as gifts in very short order. If I have not
troubled you too much already, please permit me to ask one more thing of
you. I am in need of a sculptor (or perhaps several sculptors) to
furnish several pieces of statuary for the castle gardens. I would be
most grateful if you could suggest the names of any artists whom I could
contact for this purpose.

By my hand,

Prince Corvarath Paralor
