Run don't walk, put in the 230 volts.  The power switch in the L4B is notorious for failing, and impossible to replace.  The inrush current is much lower at 230V, greatly extending switch life.  There's lots of other very good reasons, but that's one of the real biggies for me.

Folks, I'm having a new circuit installed for my L-4B amp and have a
choice of using the standard 115 volts or having a 230 volt circuit
installed. Is there any real advantage of using 230 volts? I'm really
looking forward to any comments that you might have. Thanks!
