I recently got an R-7 to go with my TR-7. I notice that the TR-7 S-meter and receiver seem 'hotter' than the R-7. I assume this is because I have aligned the TR-7 receiver according to the service manual. The R-7 2nd IF and audio board seem similar to the TR-7 (at least by visual inspection). Anyone out there with an R-7 service manual that can check on the alignment procedure and send me the steps to set up the S-meter and AGC?
