I am adding a CTCSS tone encoder to my UV-3 ... it seems simple to do by using the accessory connector on the bottom. Only one problem - the only metal connectors inside the plug are the ones for the speaker<->ground connection as originally shipped from Drake - the other 8 holes have nothing in them but air... any help or suggestions on additional inserts that I can use to hook up the tone encoder and +12v would be appreciated. I've checked the parts box and a couple of PC push in terminals didn't fit.
