I was asked about applying the modifications to the earlier version of the IF/Audio board. The only difference is the coupling capaictor formt he product detector. ON the lter boards it is identified as C1170. On the earlier board, it is C1140. In either case, the 1 uF cap would be increased to 10 uF.
This modifiction is effective when you are using the MS-7 or other external speaker.
