I must say that I am a bit discouraged by your report. I assume that there is always some "deviation" in magazine construction projects, but as you say, had you not been in the business, you'd be dead in the water. The poor quality control on the circuit board is enough to deal with without having to interpret what parts were substituted. How does an average Ham work through this without some documentation?
