I recently got my R-4C - T-4XC on the air. All works fine with one exception, The passband tuning on the rx is at 12 o'clock
for LSB and 3 o'clock for USB rather than the marked positions. This appears to put the transmitter off frequency when transceiving.
Am I correct with this assumption?

I don't really have the equipment to realign the rx. Would listening to a stable on air signal and adjust the bfo till the passband
tuning is at the proper position get me into the ball park? I realize that this is not very high tech but it is about all that I have
available to me right now.
