I've heard the quantity was more like 100 units rather than the 200 units I heard about. I've also heard from other saying those radios arrived but were destroyed shortly there-after. Not sure if anyone knows or has the real story, and there are probably other variations, but in all probability a large quantity were taken out of service which makes those remaining of the 517 Drake built even more collectable.
