Dan,
Check the serial numbers of both rigs. If they don't end in the same letter, that could be the reason. I think both of mine are "B" on the end. Drake matched the crystals somewhat and put the letters there to tell which "color" crystal is in the rig. However, over the years, these have been changed, but the color dot is usually seen on the crystal. Hope that helps!

I'm having trouble adjusting my R4B to bring it on frequency to
transceive with my T4XB. The adjustment is via C61 to bring the
frequency difference to within a few Hertz.
With this particular R4B I adjust C61 all the way down, but am still about 150 Hertz high in frequency.
I have a second R4B that adjusts with no problem, and, of course, I have no trouble "zero beating" the T4XB to either R4B when operating separately.
Any suggestions?
