"Mariusz \"Art\" VE3PND" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> made an utterence to the drakelist gang ---------------------------------------------------------------------- In this case there is a very good reason to direct the air OUT of the box: at their intake side (the enclosure) the fans create a small underpressure which sucks the ambient temperature air in through all possible openings, gaps etc so the air is flowing around all the components on its way cooling them down. If the fans were set up to push the ambient temperature air into the cabinet, this would create a positive air pressure inside the cabinet and would slowly increase the temperature of the components that are normally cool therefore heating up the entire box. . Which is what we do not want.
